| Our New Life in Christ - Introduction
God has given us the greatest gift He could possibly
give us! He sent His own Son into the world, where He
lived, and died, and won forgiveness for all our sins.
Now we don't have to live in fear. We are accepted by
God and will live forever with Him in His heavenly Kingdom.
What a joy to know that God loves us so much! But our
Christian faith does not stop with just believing in
our Lord Jesus Christ. Our faith also makes it possible
for us to live as God wants us to live. Because God
loves us so much, we try our best to please Him with
our daily lives, to be good children of our Heavenly
Father.
That's what this Bible study is about. Through it we
will learn how to turn our faith into actions, how to
live Christian lives with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Using the guidance given us by God's Word, we will try
to understand God's will for us, so that everything
we say or do will be God-pleasing. In that way we will
respond to God's great love in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
This study is divided into five sections:
- WHO'S IN CHARGE HERE? The Christian's relationship with God.
- EAT, DRINK, AND BE MERRY? How does a Christian take care of his or her own body and mind?
- LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND! The Christian's attitude toward love, sex, marriage and family life.
- WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER! How do we carry out Jesus' command that we love our neighbor as we love ourselves?
- LET'S GET THIS PLACE CLEANED UP! Christians have a deep concern for the world around them.
At the end of all 5 sections, you will be invited to receive this valuable free, spiritual resource, titled "God's Little Instruction Book for New Believers" to use when you need encouragement. |

We pray that this study will be of help to you in your growth as a Christian, and that through it you will discover the joy of living a God-pleasing life!
