Bible Study - The Promise Is to You
Welcome to our fourth and last lesson! We are pleased that you, and so many others like you, have proven to be faithful in your study as the Lord shares His promises of salvation that comes to us in Jesus! What we have shared with you in these lessons is only the tip of God's good news for humanity. We have tried to acquaint you with the basics of our faith. Jesus is truly good news for humanity!
As we have shared God's plan of salvation with you, we encourage you to share these Scripture passages with those who are closest to you. Talk to them of the joy the Lord has given you in your Savior, Jesus.
If you remember, in our last lesson, we talked about some of the objections that the devil and our sinful natures raise to anyone who is being called to Christianity. You might remember that we talked about how:
- God continues to show His love for us.
- we can be sure of our salvation because Jesus has taken away our sins.
- God promises to help us as we live and when we die.
- God's love and salvation reaches out to all people no matter who they are.
- most of God's people, although sinners, try to glorify Him with their lives.
As we draw our lessons to a conclusion, please REMEMBER TO:
- Read these lessons and be honest in your answers.
- Read and think about what God is trying to tell you.
- Send in the last page of your lesson with the knowledge that the Lord, and everybody at our headquarters cares for you.
- Think about the Bible verses. The Lord will lead you to new insights.
