Arrive Shanghai, China’s premier business center and the nation’s
largest city. You will be met and transported to your deluxe hotel.

DAY 3 • Sunday, February 11, 2007
SHANGHAI
Worship in Shanghai. Sightseeing in the afternoon includes the Oriental
Pearl of the East TV Tower and the waterfront park of the HuangPu
River. After dinner, enjoy an astonishing acrobatic show. Overnight
in Shanghai.
DAY 4 • Monday, February 12, 2007
SHANGHAI/HANGZHOU
The day begins with a visit to the Headquarters of the China Christian
Council to meet Chinese Church leaders. Then we’ll visit Ai-Ji
(Love Christ) Printing Plant in the suburb of Shanghai. Supported
by Lutheran Hour Ministries, this Christian press is capable of
printing 3 million Christ-centered books and devotional guides a
year. Drive to Hangzhou in late afternoon. Overnight in Hangzhou.
DAY 5 • Tuesday, February 13, 2007
HANGZHOU
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Hangzhou. Includes a visit to
the 1600-year-old Monastery of the Hidden Souls (Ling Yin Si), Six
Harmonious Pagoda West Lake with many terrific scenic points, and
a silk embroidery factory. Overnight in Hangzhou.
DAY 6 • Wednesday, February 14, 2007
HANGZHOU/XIAN
In the morning, visit and meet with pastors at Chong Yi Tang (Worship
the Holy One), the largest Chinese Church in the world. In the afternoon,
we’ll fly to Xian, a former grand capital of 11 Chinese dynasties,
renowned for its wealth of antiquities and historic gateway to the
old silk trading route. We’ll cap off this evening with a
traditional Chinese dumpling dinner. Overnight in Xian.
DAY 7 • Thursday, February 15, 2007
XIAN
Following breakfast, we will have a full-day tour including the
Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the renowned Terra-Cotta Warriors, and the
Hot Springs of Huaqing. In the evening, enjoy an Imperial Song and
Dance Entertainment with dinner. Overnight in Xian.
DAY 8 • Friday, February 16, 2007
XIAN/BEIJING
In the morning, we will tour the ancient City Wall and Shaanxi Provincial
Museum with the Nestorian Christian Discovery, one of the best history
museums in the nation. In the afternoon, fly to Beijing, capital
of the People’s Republic of China. Overnight in Beijing.
DAY 9 • Saturday, February 17, 2007
BEIJING
Join a full-day excursion to the magnificent 4,000-mile-long Great
Wall of China, the only man-made structure visible from space by
the naked eye. After lunch, visit Ming Tombs, the burial sites of
Ming Dynasty Emperors. After dinner, enjoy a performance of Peking
Opera. Overnight in Beijing.
DAY 10 • Sunday, February 18, 2007 CHINESE NEW YEAR
BEIJING
Worship in Beijing in the morning. Sightseeing in the afternoon
includes the ancient Forbidden City, a huge complex of palaces,
pavilions, and gardens; Tian-An-Men (Gate of Heavenly Peace) Square,
the largest square in the world; and the exquisite architecture
and vivid embellishment of the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a special
Peking Roasted Duck dinner. Overnight in Beijing.
DAY 11 • Monday, February 19, 2007
BEIJING/HONG KONG
In the morning, fly from Beijing to Hong Kong. In the afternoon,
tour to the headquarters of Lutheran Hour Ministries in Hong Kong
– Media Connection. After that will be leisure time and shopping.
Overnight in Hong Kong.
DAY 12 • Tuesday, February 20, 2007
HONG KONG
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing and shopping in Hong Kong including
Victoria Peak, floating Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay, and
Stanley Market. Overnight in Hong Kong.
DAY 13 • Wednesday, February 21, 2007
HONG KONG
Sightseeing and shopping including the fashionable Wanchai District
and Harbor view at the shore area in Tsim Sha Tsui. Shopping at
the big mall nearby – shop for 2 to 3 hours, then have dinner
at a restaurant nearby. After dinner, we can go to the shore area
to enjoy a laser show around 8pm. Overnight in Hong Kong.
DAY 14 • Thursday, February 22, 2007
