Would you like to be part of an international movement to reach people around the world with the message of Jesus Christ? Through LHM's partnership opportunities individuals, congregations, LWML, LLL groups, and schools have the chance to partner in ministry worldwide by working directly with an LHM international ministry center.

Global Impact
Make an impact around the globe as well as in your own congregation. Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) Global Impact connects you or your congregation with one of LHM's more than 30 International Ministry Center, in a country around the globe. LHM will keep you connected to your ministry center, so you can build relationships and see how the Lord is working in people's lives. You will even have the opportunity to visit your partner ministry center in person and see first-hand the gospel at work. Global Impact is customizable, it's personal, and it's a meaningful way to impact your church and our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Global Impact Volunteer Trips
Global Impact Volunteer Trips give volunteers a chance to participate in global outreach efforts through short-term overseas mission trips. As part of a Volunteer Trip team, volunteers take on a variety of service projects that allow them to share the love of Christ with people who may otherwise have never known it. You may be helping to construct a building, do general repairs, or maybe conduct Vacation Bible School for children.

In addition to serving in these areas, participants often have time to visit some of the well-known attractions that each country has to offer.

District Partnerships
An International Lutheran Laymen's League district participating in this partnership program commits to supporting an LHM ministry center through prayer, volunteers, and financial gifts. Your district will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of ministry center needs, thus allowing them to reach out with effective ministry to the people of that region.

The Carolina District is enthusiastic about their partnership with the ministry center in Madagascar. Mr. Pearson Wood, former District President, is spearheading the partnership project in his district. "During the process of learning about the ministry center, the added bonus is getting to know the staff," Wood said. "We have a better understanding of their accomplishments, mission and goals, and where they need our help."

Congregations within the Carolina district are gaining interest in Madagascar. As news is received from the ministry center in Madagascar, it is shared with the congregations. "People are wanting to help, and we are anxious to select our project for support," Wood added.

Ministry Tours
Ministry Tours give donors and volunteers a chance to meet LHM ministry center staff and volunteers abroad. This gives them a firsthand look at the progress our centers are making, as well as the challenges they are facing. In 2007, the tour group also enjoyed a spectacular fireworks display to commemorate the Chinese New Year in China and Hong Kong.
