Gift Ideas for Valentine's Day
Okay, so this person is REALLY special. You're thinking of
spending money on him or her! Goodness, you must be completely infatuated!
Good for you!
- or -
Uhhh.....I didn't follow the card writing tips. I just signed the
card. I need to buy something so my special someone won't smack me
across the face when I hand him or her the card.
Either way, Lutheran Hour Ministries can help you.
1.
Lutheran Hour Ministries has a special offer this Valentine's season. You can
receive a FREE (but you don't have to tell the special someone that it was
free) book titled, "God's Little Instruction Book on Love". Go to the free
book offer page for more details.
2.
Candy is dandy. Mmmmm....nothing like some sugar to give your romance a little
energy.
3.
Flowers are nice, but don't go for the usual. If you're a flower nut who sends
flowers about every month...believe it or not...they might get tired of roses
(you'll know you hit it when you walk into the flower shop, head towards the
VIP lounge and the proprietor says, "The usual this time?"). Try something
new! Try something daring! Try a bouquet!
4.
Okay, so you're rich. You have nothing better to do with your money and you
really want to show that special someone how much they mean to you. Perfume
or cologne is nice. So is jewelry. Make sure that you are not trying to buy
Love and everything will be alright. It's just one of those Valentine's Day
taboos.
5.
You're not rich. In fact, you're pretty darned broke. It's okay, most people
don't like big expensive gifts anyway (or at least you don't have to think
so until you're the CEO of your own company). Make something! Nothing says "I
Love You" like a homemade something or another. Try making a video of yourself
or your time together with your special person. Nothin' says loving like a
home-baked goodie, so if you don't have the cash to buy chocolate, make some
fudge.
